TRYOUT FAQ
EVEN IF I CAN'T ATTEND TRYOUTS, DO I STILL NEED TO REGISTER?
Yes!
DO I NEED TO CHECK-IN BEFORE REPORTING TO MY FIELD AT TRYOUTS?
If you are a current Fusion player, NO. If you are NEW to the club (KC Fusion rec player or coming from another club), YES. Please report to the registration tent to pick up your bib number that MUST be worn during each tryout session.
HOW LONG IS EACH TRYOUT SESSION?
All tryout sessions are 90 minutes.
DO PLAYERS HAVE TO ATTEND BOTH TRYOUT SESSIONS?
YES, unless the coach said you did not need to return.
WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY CHILD TO BE OFFERED A SPOT?
Spots are offered on the first and second days. However, in some cases it may be a few days after.
ARE ALL PARTICIPANTS OFFERED A SPOT ON A FUSION TEAM?
We try to place as many kids on Fusion teams as possible. Each year is different.
WHAT DOES MY PLAYER NEED TO BRING TO EACH TRYOUT SESSION?
Bring a soccer ball and water bottle. Wear cleats and shinguards. NEW players to Fusion, bring your tryout bib.
